Ballet Hispánico presents world premieres by Bennyroyce Royon and Edwaard Liang that explore the vast connections between the Latino and Asian diasporas. In separate but related works, Royon and Liang touch on historic issues that are particularly resonant today, including migration, immigration, journeying, and assimilation. The program also features Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s stirring Sombrerísimo, an absorbing exploration of identity, which references the surrealist world of Belgian painter René Magritte.

RUNNING TIME: 1 hr 34 mins

**Please Note: Do not go to the box office. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Ballet Hispanico table in the Joyce lobby starting at 1:30 pm.**
