AUDACIOUS, ONE-NIGHT-ONLY PRESENTATIONS OF SURPRISING MUSICAL COLLABORATIONS

“No series has better instincts in fomenting post-genre alchemy than the Ecstatic Music Festival.” (Steve Smith, The New Yorker)

Get up close and personal with trailblazing artists stretching their wings and diving into collaborations that take their work in bold new directions. The only music festival that exclusively presents new work resulting from collaborations, the EMF has been hailed as “a who’s who of the music scene” (WQXR) and “audacious combinations and post-genre hybrids” (The New Yorker).

A New Sounds co-presentation hosted by John Schaefer
The beloved indie rock duo Wye Oak premieres a new work with the Grammy-winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus. Acclaimed for their “enormous versatility and polish” (New York Times), Brooklyn Youth Chorus will also premiere a new work by Owen Pallett.
