In its New York premiere, composers Tim Sharp and Wes Ramsay celebrate the sound of southern vocal and instrumental harmony set in the traditional form of a high mass. Using early American hymn tunes and bluegrass instruments, and featuring the Chuck Nation Band, the performance is suitable for all ages and families. The Navo Middle School Varsity Treble Choir, under the direction of Mary Margaret Sadler, also performs a selection of choral music.
