The final subscription concert of the season will feature the world premiere of Pedro Páramo, a piece commissioned from Colombian-American composer Alba Potes. Her inspiration is the eponymous short novel by Juan Rulfo, which tells the story of a man’s quest to find his estranged father and instead finding that his parents’ home town has become a ghost town inhabited by the shades of the dead.
