The orchestra, soloists, and choir, conducted by Richard Egarr and Louise Basbas, usher in the holiday season with a program of favorites, both awe-inspiring and beloved. The highlight is J.S. Bach’s Magnificat—along with his Orchestral Suite No.3, and his motet, Lobet den Herrn. Lest we forget the holiday itself, the performance also includes Corelli’s jubilant Christmas Concerto.
