Pixar: The Design of Story

Cooper Hewitt Museum

2 E 91st, New York, NY 10128

Through August 7th,2016 from 10-6 on everyday except Saturday (which is 10-9)
FREE for kids under 18, and $9 dollars for students.

The Cooper Hewitt museum in lower Manhattan now has a small exhibit which goes behind the scenes into how Pixar designs movies that you know and love, such as UP, Inside Out, and Toy Story. It’s chock-full of hands on activities, thanks to Cooper Hewitt’s latest technology: a pen that lets you capture information of objects in the museum, and view them at home!

The free admission also extends to the rest of the exhibits, so I recommend seeing the projection room, where you can make a simple pattern and see it as wallpaper
(I’ll put mine below) For more information, check out their website
