In a time of romantic crises, young Graziella seeks out a fortune teller and the response is: ‘‘Blood, blood, blood!’’Graziella & her twin brother Micky have just been cheated on by their respective partners. Each seek comfort & redemption within the cacophony of their mutual heartbreak. Rumors & their own superstitions provoke them closer & closer towards taking revenge.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Joey Merlo (Playwright/Director) is a graduate of NYU Tisch’s Experimental Theatre Wing. He is a poet, actor & playwright who has worked all over the world, including in Ghana, where he completed a documentary on the illegality of homosexuality called Voices & in Greece, where he took part in a collaborative residency that focused on creating public art installations & theater. He has worked with the Westport Country Playhouse & Dixon Place, and he contributes to Out.com. Joey lives in Washington Heights & is the host of Siren Den, a monthly showcase for artists at Smalls Jazz Club in the West Village.
