Luan Parle with Mickey Coleman
Presented by Irish Arts Center as part of Cuala festival
“Luan Parle combines a glossy blend of contemporary/alt. country, folk, pop & rock. With her wonderful stage presence and obvious talent Parle could well be the next big star.” – The Hot Press
Following an appearance on Ireland’s legendary Late Late Toy Show when she was twelve years old, Luan Parle got a record deal, and then in 2002 a bigger record deal with Sony Music Ireland. Her song “Ghost” went on to become one of her most successful singles, spending 12 weeks in the Irish Charts, and peaking at number 10. Parle collaborates with many renowned US and UK songwriters, joined James Blunt on his UK and Irish tours, and opened for Elton John at The Hammersmith Apollo. She is a Meteor award-winner for Best Irish Female, and will be accompanied by Clive Barnes, who is highly regarded as one of the finest performers.
