Kambalache Negro is a group that met in 1992 under the direction of Roberto “Chino” Bolaños.
Kambalache Negro is one of the best Afro-Peruvian groups in the United States that is composed of musicians of great renown and trajectory in the field of Peruvian music who together have been privileged to accompany and record with many singers and groups in America North and South.
This group is a mixture of sounds composed by percussion, piano, bass, choruses that offer from festejos, landos, zamacuecas, laments until salsa, timba and different fusions of the afroperuana music with a Caribbean touch. The group has toured most of the United States as the July 28 festival in Miami, also the Kennedy Center in Washington in addition to Colombia (Caribbean Festival in 1998) and Canada.
