Arts Partner: Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation

Called “dashing and extraordinary” by The Strad Magazine, the Apple Hill String Quartet is the resident ensemble of the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music. They serve as the organization’s artistic directors as well as the coaches, mentors, and music directors for Apple Hill’s on-site Summer Chamber Music Workshop, welcoming 300 students and 45 faculty.

During the regular concert season they perform for and teach thousands more throughout the world while serving as the representatives of Playing for Peace, Apple Hill’s guiding philosophy of creating community and fostering artistic growth through chamber music.

This concert features Mozart’s A Major String Quartet; the NYC premiere of Kinan Azmeh’s clarinet quintet; and closes with violinist Rebecca Fischer and pianist Yi-heng Yang joining the Quartet for a performance of Ernest Chausson’s Concerto for Violin, Piano, and String Quartet.

**Please Note: Sales for weekend shows will close on Friday at 4pm. Please be sure to purchase tickets for Saturday and Sunday shows the Friday before at 4pm, after that tickets will no longer be available for purchase.**
