PROGRAM:
Chelsea High School Symphonic Band Performance Repertoire
The Chelsea HS Symphonic Band will be performing a concert of music all of which is either composed or performed with a Michigan “connection.”
Blue Lake Forever – composed by Daniel Kovats, and dedicated to the Stansell Family, Founders, students and the staff of Michigan’s Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
Let There Be Peace – composed by Scott Boerma originally from South Haven, Michigan and now Director of Bands at Western Michigan University.
Apparition – by Michael Udow (former University of Michigan Percussion Professor) – To be performed by guest Soloist Rob Knopper (Chelsea HS Graduate and member of the New York Met Opera Orchestra.)
Clocktower Suite – composed by Brian Brill, Chelsea resident, commercial composer, and professional musician.
