The overall experience of being at Pioneer Works was so different from anything I’ve ever taken part in. Seeing just how unique each individual piece is was so amazing. Stepping into the building you could sense all the creative minds flourishing. I loved how the concept of Pioneer Works was not just focused on art, but science as well. All of the artists there are from different backgrounds. It is clear that there is a creative display of multiple aspects of art. What really stood out to me the most was of course the remarkable work and commitment of Dustin Yellin.

Looking at his work you can truly see the many complexities of it and the aspects of it that enable you to think in depth. Yellin’s work is visually incredible. I love the way he uses a variety of colors and arrangements in order to portray such thought provoking art. From what I’ve heard, his work is in very high demand and surely is not sold to just anyone. Being in the presence of such art was such a valuable experience. All of the work that was displayed at the Pioneer Works studio amazed each and every one of the Summer TRaC participants. I can honestly say that we were all fascinated by what we saw and will most likely never forget it.
