With the WWE’s greatest pay-per-view of the year, Wrestlemania already making its mark on the world for the 28th time, this is the right time to introduce one of the newest games that is sweeping the nation, WWE 12. This game is a big advancement to the Raw vs. Smackdown series with new designs, advanced graphics and new targeting systems. The game has really upgraded the control system with new abilities. According to interviews with the development team, they have used a new kind of technology called Predator that has made the game smoother and faster. It also gave all the game physics a major overhaul making it more realistic.

The next thing is the two new features that make the game more challenging. First is the new limb targeting system, instead of giving the superstar the usual health bar, every body part has its own health bar and the limb targeting system allows you to attack a certain limb to give you an advantage in the game and there’s the breaking point submission mini game, (this mini game should only be used with superstars who are good with submission maneuvers.) When a superstar uses a submission, a breaking point sign appears and you have break out of the hold before the sign turns crimson red. Also, there are various match types to choose from, so the action keeps going on.

The game has upgraded the superstar creation feature by giving new ring gear, new face, head and body features that are unique, also the game lets your created superstar have a pre move set from one of the superstars on the main roster or you can create your own move set complete with finisher. You can also create your own entrance movie, logo, arena and story.

Now for the big finale, The WWE universe mode and the road to Wrestlemania story mode, the WWE universe mode allows you in a simulated environment in which you control any superstar you want throughout the game. You can choose which matches to play to, which championships to hold and decide who are your allies and rivals. It’s like you are in the WWE with you as the boss.  The road to Wrestlemania story is more advanced, instead of various stories, it’s one big story broken down into three parts, where you play as Sheamus, Triple H and a pre creation superstar called Jacob Cass with a lot of twists and turns along the way

One last piece of advice, you are going to need the game guide because it breaks down all the features in the game, how to work though the story mode and breakdowns of every single superstar on the main roster including the first five DLCs. There are new DLCs such as Batista, Alicia Fox, Trish Status, The Rock and of course, the legendary “Macho Man” Randy Savage, but you are going to have figure how to play with them on your own, as the guide doesn’t cover them in the superstar section.
