These galleries represent the Colors of our City, an exhibition of 300 artworks created by students in grades 6-12 from a broad cross-section of New York City public schools. Students made art based on their perspectives, experiences, and creativeness in the city for this exhibition.
These galleries were created by Student Art Program interns, Monica W., Jeremy F., and Carlos S. who curated these artworks into five themes for navigation through the exhibition. The themes are: Roots in the City, Inner Colors and Reflections, Dreaming of Seasons, Sightseeing, and Pops of Life.
Each of these holds 40-60 works of art, organized alphabetically by last name. We invite you to browse these galleries and experience the wonderful works of art on display.
