THREE WORLD PREMIERE PLAYS FEATURING A CAST OF TEENAGERS
FROM ALL FIVE BOROUGHS OF NEW YORK CITY!

Keen Teens is a unique educational program from the award-winning off-Broadway theater, Keen Company. Keen Teens improves the quality of plays written for high school students by commissioning scripts from established playwrights and immerses approximately forty high school students a year in a professional theater experience. Students from the all five boroughs rehearse for 12 weeks to perform in the world premiere productions off-Broadway at Theater Row. The 2018 Keen Teens Festival of New Work will include three new pieces by James Tyler, Leah Nanko Winkler, and musical team Saloman Lerner and Jamie Cowperthwait.

On the night of the 2016 presidential election, a high school government club gathers to watch the results come in. Evelyn, the club president, must make a difficult choice. As the night wears on, and the winner becomes clear, the students struggle to understand what is happening between them and across the country.
