Francisco Núñez, MacArthur ‘Genius Grant’ Fellow and founder/artistic director of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, leads the Distinguished Concerts Singers International in a program of his own compositions for treble voices. Ensemble Monterey Chamber Orchestra (Dr. John Anderson, conductor) and Cabrillo Symphonic & Youth Choirs (Cheryl Anderson, conductor) perform the world premiere of Ēriks Ešenvalds’ Sunset in My Hand: Ancient Voices of the Wild Pacific Coast.
