Written and performed by Nelson Lugo and directed by Joel Jeske, “Cheating Death: Magic, Memoirs & Mortality” is a dark comedy that explores one magician’s life and his many brushes with death. Cheating Death is a hybrid theater piece that challenges the boundaries between personal storytelling and classical stage magic. The result is an intimate celebration of life and all of its varied deaths.
