Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, led by Director Gary Nicholson, takes the stage at Carnegie Hall in this evening performance featuring young musicians of Colorado. Conductor Steven Rash brings the musicians of Odem High School, Texas, center stage in a wind ensemble program. The Highlands Youth Ensemble from Mountain Empire Children’s Choral Academy is led by Jane Morison. Wajima Wadaiko Toranosuke(Taiko Japanese Drum Ensemble) performs under the direction of Tetsuya Imai.
