A carnivalesque adaptation of Cervantes’ masterpiece. Through Don Quijote’s adventures, the production presents the ilussion of an utopian world with a festive and colorful spirit.

When asked about the difference between this and other theatrical adaptations of Cervantes’ masterpiece, Jorge Alí Triana assures that “this production aims to showcase the illusion of an utopian world through many of Don Quijote’s adventures. El Quijote is a polyphonic play in which many different genres such as comedy, tragedy and farce collide to form a carnival-like and vibrant Don Quijote that is rich in its musicality.” The play is a collection of 12 scenes that present different stories based on the original text of Cervantes.
