Arts Partner: Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation (MMPAF)

Modern music icon John Zorn opens the 2015-2016 season with a midnight performance of The Hermetic Organ. When Zorn first performed his now notorious solo organ improvisation in 2011, Lou Reed praised the performance as one of “culmination and conquest.” Zorn now takes The Hermetic Organ to St. Bartholomew’s Church’s magnificent Aeolian-Skinner, the largest pipe organ in New York City.
