Arts Partner: Japan Society

Celebrated jazz pianist Makoto Ozone, hailed by The New York Times as “thrilling, virtuosic and unabashedly personal,” performs selections from his wide-ranging repertoire, from Gershwin and Bernstein to Piazzolla and Ravel. Known for his large concert hall performances with the New York Philharmonic under Alan Gilbert’s baton and with jazz legends such as Gary Burton and Chick Corea, this upbeat and freewheeling performance marks Ozone’s first U.S. solo concert in nearly 30 years.
