Pablo Mayor will present new sounds from his renowned band that has been bringing NYC new Colombian music for over a decade. His latest production involves singers and instrumentalists from Colombia and Cuba, who will appear throughout the new year alongside the quintet version of his renowned Folklore Urbano Orchestra, taking such rhythms as cumbia, currulao, bambuco, and joropo, and mixing them with everything from pop and jazz to Afro-Cuban sounds.
