Rachel Eve Holmes is an American soprano recently described as “expressive and subtle, with a stunning instrument” (Capital Times). Her performing career has taken her to Belgium, China, Italy, Austria, Canada, and the Czech Republic, as well as all over the United States. She has performed over 35 operatic and musical theatre roles with dozens of opera companies, symphonies, and theaters. She will be joined by tenor Pedro Carreras and pianist Catherine Giel, presenting works by Bizet, Mascagni, Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini, and Jason Robert Brown. This performance marks her DCINY Artist Series debut at Carnegie Hall.
