The Bach Dances includes three RIOULT Dance NY works set to the music of J.S. Bach – Views of the Fleeting World (2008) set to “The Art of Fugue,” City (2010) set to “Sonata for Violin and Piano #6 in G major,” and Celestial Tides (2011) set to “Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major.” The critically-acclaimed program has toured throughout the United States and France with recorded music, however, the October performances will mark the New York City premiere of Pascal Rioult’s Bach Dances performed to live music in its entirety.
