Written by Heidi Schreck
A True Love Productions Commission

What the Constitution Means to Me:  Heidi Schreck paid for most of her college tuition traveling the United States and giving speeches about the Unites States Constitution for prize money. In this performance she attempts to resurrect the speech written by her 15-year-old self, and in the process, winds back in time and through stories about witchcraft, Tolstoy, Title IX, basketball and the years she spent living in Siberia.

“THE LUCKY DARK” BY CHANA PORTER

Written by Chana Porter

Directed by Meghan Finn

The Lucky Dark:  Marie-Laure is living fully. Lucas is problem solving. Edith’s work is her life (and life is her art.) Marvin is being present. Patrice is hiding in plain sight. And Francesca is lying. Two couples expand what it means to be in relation to each other. A dark comedy about sex, death, commitment, and identity.
