Arts Partner: Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation
Since its founding in 2007, the Apple Hill String Quartet has earned praise around the world for its concerts featuring traditional repertoire as well as new and commissioned works by outstanding composers. Central to the mission of Apple Hill is Playing for Peace, an innovative outreach program that focuses on social change and conflict resolution through music. The quartet performs works by Henry Purcell, Philip Glass, and Pavel Haas in the the beautiful acoustics of the chapel.
