TRES is a multifaceted collaborative trio influenced by contemporary jazz, hip-hop, Latin jazz and punk, playing an all-originals repertoire composed by each musician: Catalan pianist Albert Marques, and Americans double-bassist Walter Stinson, and drummer Zack O’Farrill.

Brave, political and radical, these talented musicians are pushing jazz forward.
 TRES is a powerful trio that works tirelessly to break down the walls between genres, dispel the notions of high and low culture, and have a good time making exciting and creative music.

Whether it’s punk rock, Latin, free jazz or an electronica, flamenco, ballad, their goal is to always be exploring new sounds built upon the clashing of worlds we’ve always been told must be kept separate.  And to have fun doing it!
