Sophie: How can this possibly be my life right now? I am, like, literally living a Lifetime movie. There is no way that my brother is a killer. There is absolutely no way that he threatened me, me! The sister who has been covering his ass for months. My dickhead dad can’t possibly be dead. How am I supposed to find the right way to tell my mother that I’ve known this whole time? Am I supposed to just say, ”Hey mom, how’s your day going? Oh by the way, Danny ran away because he killed dad.” (Smile.) I cannot believe things like this actually happen. Maybe I should just continue to act clueless. No no no! Damn it Sophie! Get yourself together. ( Walks away saying “ I’m gonna tell her.”)
