The Brooklyn Grange is always open to visitors so they can explore the job of taking care of a rooftop farm. On Thursday, July 18^th, I got to take a visit to the Brooklyn Grange. This rooftop farm is home to tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and many other types of vegetables and fruits. They also care for chickens and bee’s here to produce more goods. By attending the Brooklyn grange you learn and get to witness the process of taking care of a rooftop farm and how one would be started. The advantages of having a rooftop farm in New York City are that there isn’t much space for farms in the city so by having this one huge rooftop farm everyone will get their goods from the Brooklyn Grange.
