Open Studio for Teens

Every Friday for 9-12 graders only

Are you interested in studio art? Maybe you just like to be creative rather than technical. At the Whitney Museum every Friday starting at 4pm, teens are allowed to make some art! How fun would that be? Grab a few friends and head to The Whitney Museum, without reservation, to create some art at the end of the week, for FREE! There is no previous artistic experience required and the supplies are provided.

ArtsConnection’s Monthly Pizza and a Movie:
550 Madison Avenue, New York, NY, US, 10022
Friday, November 6th
Free for all teens
Who doesn’t enjoy free pizza? This Friday, ArtsConnection is hosting its monthly Pizza and a Movie Night! Come join us in watching a movie in a theater all to ourselves, and enjoy some pizza. I know I’ll be there! Together we will pick a movie (narrowing down from three choices), and then we will have a great discussion. It is a great way to network, meet some interesting people, and just watch a movie in a way that you wouldn’t at a movie theater. You can also bring a friend! Space is limited so you will need to RSVP through High5 but it’s okay … it’s FREE! Want to know what movie might be shown? Come on by and find out for yourselves. I hope to see you there!

Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concerts:
881 7th Ave, New York, NY 10019
(212) 247-7800
Shows This Week: Friday, November 6th; Sunday, November 8th
Free for all ages
Carnegie Hall offers Neighborhood Concerts that are FREE. You can see musicians of all types in your local community. What is better than a free concert? Nothing! If time permits, I suggest taking a minute to simply enjoy the musical stylings of any artist performing in your community. This may be an opportunity to experience a new genre of music in a way you have yet to. “Neighborhood Concerts” is an on-going activity, not simply in NYC but IN YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY! Take a friend, a family member, a significant other or take them all and adore the opportunities that the city has to offer.
