Of all the performances we saw, I thought the last one, the play about science, was the one that stood out to me. It stood out to me because I’m very interested in science, and it’s my favorite subject in school besides art and literature class. I think science and nature play important roles in our lives because they’re all around us. They allow us to understand how things work, which will benefit us in the future. In the play, I liked when she sung about the planets and how the universe began. I liked the fact that it was a simple song about something gigantic. I enjoyed when she spun the plants around her dress, sung about the dust in the universe, and threw the clump of wire fabric as if it was dust. I also liked the part when she moved in a circle with the moon on her head, showing the phases of the moon. That part was creative, innovative, and a really good idea. I wish they would have done that at school so I could remember the phases of the moon. The phases of the moon were the hardest for me to remember in science class, and I feel like I would have remembered them better if there was a visual like that. In conclusion, I thought the performance was a well-done, visual representation of science in general, and it inspired me to make more science projects.
