Like pizza? And movies? All for free? Then you should check out High 5’s next Pizza and a Movie Night presented by ArtsConnection in partnership with Sony Wonderlab. The next one is Friday, August 2 from 5-8pm at Sony Wonderlab. BE THERE!

Never been to a Pizza and a Movie Night? Here’s what you can expect!

We present you with three films that all relate to the theme we’ve chosen for the month. The three films on the menu will go up for mob vote — YOU DECIDE what we watch — and then we’ll break it down in discussion afterward, as we always do.

On the first Friday of every month we offer you:

*A Great Movie: ‘Cuz we aim to please. But you won’t know what we’re seeing till you arrive and cast your vote for ONE of the THREE films.

*Discussion: We break it down after the movie. Come share your opinion with other arts-lovin’ people. The post-film discussion is usually led by Diane Exavier, High 5’s Director of Pizza & Movies, and Ronald F. I. Porto, a film expert, industry professional and all around good human.

*Free Tickets to High 5 shows! Dance, music, theater, museums, the works! Here’s your chance to pick up FREE tickets to the best of the best arts events around NYC.

*Pizza: Delicious pizza and ice cold soda. (Okay, the soda’s not ice cold and the pizza is just pretty good, but hey. It’s free.

Look for the High 5 crew in the Sony Public Atrium at 5:00 PM. We’ll have a High 5 sign-in and (of course) pizza. At 5:20 sharp, we’ll head on up to Sony’s beautiful 78-seat, high-tech screening room to watch our film.

How to RSVP for Pizza and a Movie Night: Seating is limited, so you must lay claim to your seat & slice of pizza by sending an RSVP to info@high5tix.org or RSVP on Facebook. Include your name, school, age and phone number. Make your subject line is “MOVIE NIGHT RSVP.” Please let us know exactly many people you’ll be bringing. Also, don’t be late! If you arrive later than 5:20 PM, you will miss the group and won’t be able to get into the theater.

Please Note: This is a TEENS ONLY event is open to anyone currently in HIGH SCHOOL.
