What’s the best thing about FringeNYC?

The community.  All of these different companies come from all over the world to become a community for two weeks.  You’re seeing each others’ shows.  You’re seeing the same audience members at all over town.  And Elena Holy and the whole FringeNYC team are so supportive.  If you aren’t taking advantage of the community spirit then I think you are missing what FringeNYC is really about.

What’s the #1 reason people should come see your show?

Edgar Allan Poe was a very funny guy.

Do you have any opening-night rituals?

Fish Tacos…mmmmmm.  No, wait, I mean…um…folding programs?

What are the craziest performance conditions you’ve had to work under?

I saw a show in the back of a hatchback once, does that count?

How did you get involved with the arts?

Kenny Workman got sick the day of the kindergarten Christmas play, and I got to go on for him.  I’ve been doing Kenny’s work in the arts ever since.
