On Friday April 24, explore contemporary art at the New Museum during an evening exclusively for teens! Grab your friends, and come for live music and teen-led gallery experiences. Investigate the 2015 Triennial: “Surround Audience,” and head up to the Sky Room to take in the view and listen to a live performance by Fielded, Lindsay A. Powell’s solo music project, which combines the electronic manipulation of vocals, synthesizers, and live instrumentation to achieve a unique sound the artist dubs “future pop.”
Teen Night is free and open to teens aged 14–19 with high school or government ID. No preregistration is required.
