Here’s what the teen audience had to say…

FINAL RATING: 6 out of 8 slices

Every PaaM night, we ask our teens to give us their honest reviews of the winning movie. We then select voices that capture the range of opinions and critiques. Read what Isabel, Josori, Dorothea and Kyle thought about this fairytale adventure comedy.

Choose three words to describe the movie.

Isabel: Romantic, Very Funny, Interesting

Josori: Romance, Adventure, Resilience

Dorothea: Greatest Movie Ever

Kyle: Funny, Exciting, Corny

What was your favorite scene? Bonus: Why? **SPOILER ALERT!**

Isabel: The scene when all 3 characters are being carried up the rope by Fezzik and Wesley starts going up behind them and Vizzini tells Fezzik to hurry up.

Josori: My favorite scene is when Wesley is laying down on the Princess’ bed and Prince Humperdinck comes in and pulls out his sword, Wesley instills fear in him describing “to the pain” and makes Humperdinck drops his sword, even though he has no physical strength to get up. The scene illustrates the power of fear.

Dorothea: My favorite scene is when Inigo and Fezzik go to visit Miracle Max and get the miracle. This scene is hilarious and makes me laugh every time.

Kyle: When Buttercup and Wesley fell down the cliff. It was super funny, overly dramatic and ridiculous.

Would you recommend this to a friend? Why or why not?

Isabel: Yes, because this is not a typical romantic movie. It includes different kinds of genres that make it funny, action packed and romantic.

Josori: I would recommend this to a friend because it’s a good laugh and if you’re a sucker for romance, you’ll like it.

Dorothea: I would recommend this movie to a friend because I think everyone should see it! It has everything ! A love story, pirates, sword fighting, comedy.

Kyle: I would totally recommend this movie to a friend because it was fun to watch and is a really good satire on the fairy tale genre.
