Everybody loves a good comeback! December’s The Comeback edition featured the movies that relaunched the careers of 3 our favorite “down but not out” actors.

Featuring…

Sylvester Stallone reprising his role as Rocky Balboa and introducing a protégé for the new generation in Creed.

Michael Keaton in Birdman -the role that won him his first Oscar nom (and win!) after 30 years of acting.

Robert Downey Jr. in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang-the part that secured him as our favorite Avenger: Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man.

And the winner was…

We asked four teens to give you their reviews on this murder mystery thriller. Read what Angelina and Veronica (The PaaM Newbies), Madison (The Return PaaMer), and Sophie & Francesca (The Sisters that PaaM Together) had to say…

Choose three words to describe this movie.

Angelina: FUNNY, INTERACTIVE (BROKE THE FOURTH WALL), AMUSING

Veronica: SURPRISING, INTERESTING, STRANGE

Madison: DISJOINTED, IRONIC, HILARIOUS

Sophie & Francesca: WITTY, ORIGINAL, ENTERTAINING

What was your favorite scene? Bonus: Why? SPOILER ALERT!

Angelina: My favorite scene was at the bar when Harmony an Harry met for the first time because it was funny and it showed that the two characters could really connect.

Veronica: When the dog ate Harry’s finger and then the dog comforted Harry, although his finger was now gone.

Madison: My favorite scene was the bridge sequence when the girl with the pink hair jumped into the car with Harry in the back while the shopkeeper shot the bad guy. I think that scene embodied perfectly the essence and tone of the movie. It was a bunch of unfortunate events happening while the characters fumbled over each other.

Sophie & Francesca: My favorite scene was…all of them!

Would you recommend this to a friend? Why or why not?

Angelina: Yes, because it was very funny and it was different. I liked how Harry interacted with the audience.

Veronica: Yes, because this movie kept me interested and the plot line was capricious and unexpected. The [Pizza and a Movie] environment is very friendly, I felt welcomed and it gives me a chance to learn about independent films.

Madison: Yes! I would recommend this movie to a friend. I think it is a great mixture of a romance move and a crime movie, but it is carried through by the comedy of Perry and Harry.

Sophie & Francesca: Yes, because it’s clever, witty, the characters are relatable and overall it’s a very entertaining film. I like to judge films on how much I think about it after seeing it and I think I’ll be thinking about this one for a long time.
