This month was the Off the Grid edition, we selected movies that offered an escape from the path most travelled. Each movie on the menu deviated from the mundane on its own terms: fictional countries, journeys to the past and even ancient creatures brought back to life.

And… thanks to the generous people at HBO, we returned to their beautiful terrace & theater!

Here are the titles that made the cut and their off the grid destinations:

Casablanca| Casablanca, Morocco in December 1941.

The Grand Budapest Hotel | The fictional Republic of Zubrowka between the first and second World Wars.

Jurassic Park| The island/theme park houses & exhibits dinosaurs, located on Isla Nublar, an island 120 miles west off the coast of Costa Rica.
